Contemporary and Modern Photography for Sale

My work explores both the power of the single image and the rhythm and opportunity achieved through constructed images. I am intrigued by the passage of time and it’s effects on the static world. The Lost Ashram series is an ashram close to the north Indian city of Rishikesh. During the 1960s and 1970s, as  the International Academy of Meditation, it was the training centre for students of Maharishi Mahesh Yoga who devised the Transcendental meditation technique. Abandoned and in a tiger reserve, it  still retains a mystery today. These are all single images in camera. Post Pandemic, my work fulfilling this exhibition theme, has taken me to Northern Spain, Lisbon and the Shetland Islands and Climping Beach in West Sussex. A Gallician reservoir, flooded and built in 1992, reveals its lost town due to a lack of rain and Global warming. The former levels of the reservoir can be seen by the tree line. Other images here today range from the island of Unst on Shetland with a plethora of abandoned buildings to a derelict asylum in Portugal.
